Leaf it Alone - Development Plans

Hey, fellow leaf rakers! 🍂 We figured it's time to crawl out from behind the bushes and give you a little behind-the-scenes update, because yes... we know we've left you hanging 😅 It's already been over 3 months since Leaf it Alone launched last October, and we just want to say a massive THANK YOU to this amazing community ❤️ Nearly 200,000 of you decided that raking leaves through a screen was a fantastic life choice - and another 100,000 still wishes to do so. That's honestly mind-blowing and way beyond anything we expected! 🤯 All of the feedback that reaches us via different communication channels is taken a look at, even if not answered at all times. Of course, the #1 request, that we see, is to add new content - so we've got some good and bad news for you all. The bad news is that there will not be a new map 😞...But the good news is that there will actually be TWO new maps coming into the game, that we are now working on! ❤️ We don't have a release date to share just yet - quality takes time, and we want these maps to be worth the wait, but you guys should at least know that we are continuing to work on the game to add this content! To share more information about localizing Leaf it Alone even further - we will be open for community-based translations for the upcoming major update - meaning there will not be any new languages coming to the game before that. If anyone feels like wanting to help the game with such, we will be more than happy to provide this opportunity! We will let you guys know, once we are ready to start with it 😄 We're still figuring out the best way to communicate with the community - what to share, and what not to - so the expectations don't become overwhelming for our small team. Let me know if it still has issues. - Fixed unbroken siege not calculating every 5k kills. - Fixed Apotheosis Pioneer not refunding all points (checked multiple affected save files, let me know any issues). - Fixed an issue where the first batch of enemies were not attacking after a map change. - Removed enemy attacks on spawn. Enemies now wait for their attack cooldown before attacking (like before). - Moved Onslaught Boss behind like it was before patch.

Demo Bug Fixes

Hey everyone, the demo officially went live today and I have pushed an update addressing a few issues.Issues Resolved: Resolution and Screen Mode not setting.Skill upgrades that are supposed to be locked during the demo were able to be purchased.If one of the skill upgrades were purchased, unfortunately a new game must be started as those locked skills do not have full functionality within the demo, and will lead to the loss of the Skill.Thanks for your patience,Xelzoros.

Starvester Demo is OUT NOW!

Hey everyone! The Starvester demo is OUT NOW on Steam!You can play it here: (go on the store page and press the green "download" button for the demo!) This demo (v0.5.0) is the playtest demo with all the fixes, optimizations, QOL implementations and balancing changes that were added during the playtest. Other than those changes, I've also added translated text into the following languages: Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Italian, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese! (Korean translation also coming soon!). The option to change language is available in the settings menu in-game (press 'English' button to toggle between languages). I'm aware that there are still some bugs related to the translations (the alignment and line-breaks are a bit wonky in the UI), and these will be fixed ASAP! The playtest has now been taken down. Again, thank you to the 23,670 people who played and all the feedback you've given me! Since the load game function has been rewritten for the demo, the save progress from the playtest unfortunately won't carry over to the demo. Alright, please keep providing me with feedback for the demo as well, and expect some more updates to the demo leading up to the February Next Fest! See you all soon, - Shaun (dev)

Speed Run Achievement Removed

HELLOSorry to everyone who was working on achieving the 2 hr 10 min speed run achievement. It has been removed due to a large number of folks who found it undesirable. If you feel strongly that it should be in the game, let your voice be heard here and I will gladly add it back (I loved it) it was based on my record 2:07:28 that I set a few nights before release.There is still the 20 min speed run that is meant to be obtained with cheats 'Kronos 23' as your pit name... a reference to Mr. Incredible typing Kronos into syndromes computer in The Incredibles movie. I do not plan to delete this as it is more accessible.

I've just pushed a small update to address some of the most common community feedback.Steam Deck SupportI am happy to announce that the demo is now fully playable on Steam Deck! You can now take your companions on the go. If you encounter any UI scaling issues, please let me know.Butterfly System OverhaulMany of you mentioned that butterflies were nearly impossible to find.Increased Spawn Rates: Butterflies will now appear much more frequently while exploring Aethelwood and The Silk Road. And very rarely in Ashfall Wastes.Less Randomness: The logic has been tweaked so you aren't just relying on pure luck to progress your quests.Fixed a bug in W11: that did not render them correctly. You can check the butterfly garden and the Vassoko cinematic again!New Guide: Not sure how to catch them? We are currently working hard to fix existing bugs in the game, striving to provide you with a better pet-raising experience! 1. Fixed the issue where achieving 100% completion in the full gene catalog and full clothing catalog did not unlock the corresponding achievement.2. Fixed some crashing and stability issues.3. Fixed the problem of bodies appearing transparent.4. Fixed the display issue with the cheek fur of the DLC Ragdoll Cat.5. Fixed incorrect clothing layer order and color issues in spine.6. Added a toggle function for the small tag in the upper right corner of automation, fixing the issue where automation could not be turned off.7.
