Hello everyone! This update brings a few quality-of-life improvements and small but meaningful fixes — once again thanks to the helpful feedback from Prof.Vaharrak. I'm really grateful for the support and suggestions! ✅ Changes and fixes: The intro is now skippable. The intro volume has been reduced from 1.0 to 0.5 for a smoother experience. All Click Power and Click Per Second achievements now use the final calculated values instead of raw base values. This makes them more accurate and fair for progression. It's time for another TNGT. I'm hard at work with the Epilogue Expansion and the end is finally in sight. Today I'm going to talk about buildings in Epilogue.The Epilogue is an upcoming free expansion to (the) Gnorp Apologue in the form a new mode, which will include new talents, buildings, mechanics and a different ending. Names??A feature that has been requested a few times, and that I myself wanted to see, was the ability to have gnorps with names. So I implemented that feature.The Naming Ceremony is held at a new building in Epilogue -- The Party Pad. At the Party Pad, you will be able to host three different parties for the gnorps, each granting a different benefit.One of the open questions with Epilogue was whether or not to remove the shrine. All other buildings are staying, but with the shrine I felt it would be interesting to find a replacement. In the base game, the purpose of the shrine is to unlock the accords through embedding a sword into the rock, but since Epilogue is a sort of continuation of the base game, it didn't sit right with me that you would embed the sword twice.So, the shrine became the Party Pad, and now a few lucky gnorps will be blessed with a name, including, but not limited to Tako, Gnorbius, and Beast. They even move into housing stacks. The Naming Ceremony provides a bonus in the form of free housing, but if you are unhappy with that you can choose to host one of the other two parties, like this one. The current design is that you'll be able to construct the Party Pad quite early, so that you can reap its benefits throughout most of the expansion.As a small little aside, one of the more fun parts about game development is when you hit upon an idea that is too juicy to ignore. You are compelled to put it to life; there is no choice in the matter. That's how the Party Pad came to be. I love the Party Pad. Hi there!I've been working on a pretty large update for the Steam Summer Sale, and welp here it is!Weapon Changes◻ Changed black hole to give the base damage boost whenever a gem gets applied to it. This should make it way less confusing to use. ◻ Flipped the directions of every weapon horizontally, so they actually point in the starting direction.🟩 Donut gives a 4x damage multiplier instead of a 2x one.🟩 Cleaver no longer removes bleed after attacking and does 2.0x more damage per bleed instead of 1.5x🟩 Hammer does 5.0x more damage instead of 3.0x when the sphere has broken armor on it.🟥❗Base damage global buffs now evenly split the damage boost between each hit of the weapon. This means that additional base damage will have an equal effect on both single and multi-hit weapons. This change doesn't include the gems, or projectile buffs.🟥 Banana is now epic rarity instead of rare.New WeaponsAdded Pizza roller (epic, shortblade)Added Beach ball (uncommon, object)Added Spiky ball (common, heavy)Added Fish (rare, food)Added Crossbow (legendary, bow)Added Orange Gem (legendary, gem)New BuffsAdded buff strength, which buffs the effectiveness of item buffs like the donut or the dice.Added base damage and multipliers that affect a certain rarity.Projectile Changes🟥 Nerfed projectile buff values (strength, power) to be less ridiculous.🟥 Changed stat ramping to be slower for projectiles that appear in the shop.🟨 Final Blow buff is now a percentage increase to projectile count rather than a flat one. Hello everyone! This is a small hotfix to address a bug that caused upgrade values to reach infinity after around 600 purchases. ✅ Bug fix: Thanks to user Prof.Vaharrak, we discovered that the upgrade multiplier was using a float type, which has a maximum value of 3.402823466e+38. This was causing calculations to overflow and return Infinity. The multiplier calculation now uses double, which supports values up to 1.79769E+308. Additionally, a safety cap has been added to prevent values from exceeding 1.79769E+308, ensuring they never become infinite again. Thank you again to Prof.Vaharrak for the report.
+ Gradient Wells now show correct efficiency (0 — 200%) + Punctures now teleport you to your Void Admiration Chancel, rather than the world’s center. You can reposition your Chancel anywhere in the upper world and begin exploring from that location.

This small update fixes a potential critical bug where, if the cloud save gets corrupted, the game might fail to run properly. In that case, the game will now show a warning at startup indicating that the save is corrupted, and a new one will be created automatically. I’ll keep working on this to add better protection and possibly a backup system for previous save files. Sorry for the inconvenience!
