Hey everyone,Bigger one this time. The last week or so was supposed to be "just clean up the launch feel a little" and somehow turned into a full per-car upgrade system, a garage hub redesign, and a profiler bloodbath. You know how it goes. Here's what's new. Per-car upgradesEvery car in your garage now has its own upgrade tree. 16 upgrades. Things like Cruise Control (with a toggle, in case you actually want to drive it yourself), Turbocharger, Long-Range Tank, Racing Tires, Pit Lane Pro (refuel without slowing down, finally), Auto-Refuel, Nitrous Kit, and a few more. Costs scale per car, save data is per car, and your old saves are completely untouched. You just open a car and start at level 0 across the board. Actual idle featuresDriveWave was always typing-first, but a few of you (and honestly me too, between coding sessions) wanted it to keep ticking when you step away. The new Idle Core and Fuel/Maintenance branches lean into that. Cruise Control gives you a throttle floor that scales up to 65% with no input, so the car keeps rolling on its own. Idle RPM raises the minimum speed the car coasts at. Auto-Refuel handles the tank for you. Pit Lane Pro lets you refuel without even slowing down. Stack a few of these on a fuel-efficient car with Long-Range Tank and ECU Remap, and you can leave it running in the corner of your screen earning credits while you do something else. Then come back, swap to a faster car, and try to beat your own passive run with active typing. It's still your call which mode you play in, the game just respects both now. The garage got a hubThe wheel customization screen is now a proper customization hub with two subpanels, Wheels and Upgrades. Tab in, tweak, tab back. Body color and vinyl navigation now live in the wheel garage main panel too, so you can flip through colors and vinyls without bouncing back to the main garage.Stat cards are upgrade-aware now. Workshop upload fix If you used the in-game "Upload to Workshop" button on Windows, the resulting Workshop item came out empty (zero files, "Build for workshop item has no content" in the Steam log). Cause: Godot was passing forward-slash paths to Steam's UGC content scanner, which uses Win32 file APIs that can't enumerate folders given Unix-style separators on Windows. Steam silently produced an empty manifest and reported back a generic Fail. Now fixed: paths are converted to native Windows separators before the SDK call, with an existence check that fails loudly instead of silently if anything's off. Reported by Sellyme on launch day in the Mod Policy thread. SteamCMD uploads were never affected; this only impacted the in-game button. — Vosk
Controller support Any gamepad button or trigger pull counts as an input from any application, the same way keyboard and mouse already do. Tested with PlayStation 5 (DualSense) and Xbox controllers. Menu navigation activates when your mouse cursor is over the RuneClick window. This intentional gate prevents accidental menu actions when you have a controller plugged in for another game. Settings has a new CONTROLLER section with a checkbox if you'd rather your gamepad not affect RuneClick at all. Steam Input default settings work without any extra configuration. Smithing recipes remember your selection Switching away from Smithing and coming back used to reset your active recipe to Bronze Bar. It now remembers your last selection per production skill (Cooking and Crafting included). — Vosk
Small stuff once again: - Repositioned VPS to be behind the Lab Reboot Panel Popup - Upon Quantum Leaping, Brain Booster and Lab Assistant levels don't reset. ^ I wasn't sure if that was an intentional game mechanic I wanted, but after some opinions I changed them. Now the math is 10 + your current prestige points in the stats panel (not spendable prestige points). Once again, if there are any issues with this, or about anything in the game, feel free to create discussion posts and I'll check them as frequently as I can! Once again, slightly rough launch, my apologies. Also insane job on the stats grinding, We have someone at over 2 BILLION vials already within the first 32 hours of game release, as well as 4 people who've Quantum Leaped. Insane researching.

Right now, I'm gathering the most common issues you guys have brought up and rolling out fixes and improvements step by step.Automation just got a massive upgrade: your character will now automatically explore until your Stash is completely full! I also patched a bug where the character model would randomly twitch during attacks (so you'll no longer look like you're raving on the dance floor mid-combat!).Sneak Peek: The next update will introduce an "Auto-Vending" feature. You'll be able to sell items automatically even while you're out adventuring, bringing us one step closer to a 100% hands-free idle gameplay loop.Secret Tip: Just a quiet reminder—you can actually dual-wield any weapon! If your damage feels a little low, try slapping on two weapons. - Core slotting is mostly implemented, but as I'm away for almost a month from next week on, I had not enough time to properly test it and to do a beta before that. So I disabled that for now, but you can see what the cores will do in the tooltips and some preview on equip slotting to prepare for it. The bonuses and formulas will likely stay similar but could still change in a final version for core slotting. - Added a wind set, 2 new staffs and a bow for adventure. - Renamed the old "Windy" equip names into "Aim" as that fits better for hit bonus and so that people don't confuse wind set with wind bonus. - Added 2 new zones to adventure. One is the new zone 15 and one zone 18. This moved some zones up so you might be in a different zone now if you were in a zone 15 or higher, so please check and move to your new zone. Sorry for that. I also adjusted the timers a bit to make some of the zones faster. - Some bestiary improvements. - You can now sort pets to if improveable. - Also fixed some typos and quite a few of the bug reports. I will do another, mostly bugfix update in a few days before I'm away.
