Electric Moons Mode - Patch 1.4.0 ChangesHey there! We hope you are having a nice March! This week the game hit almost 2,500 reviews on Steam. A huge thank you to everyone who has played the game, left a review, and shared it with a friend or two.So if you haven't already please leave us a Steam review, it really helps us a lot!New Game Mode!This patch contains a new game mode called Electric Moons with a brand new mechanic called Electric Break. We tried to answer the question “What if the breaker was charged up and triggered the electric effect?”. Plus then we added moons because they are fun and we like to make fun things. The mode takes around 15-20 minutes to complete, but I bet our speed runners can do it in under 10. What's Next for the Game?Cory and I have begun working on our next game and we are partnering with two other solo indie devs to co-develop their games. More info to come soon. A bit of a teaser is that all three games will be incremental/idle games, but will be exploring different themes and mechanics while taking the lessons we learned from making A Game About Feeding A Black Hole.As we've ramped up work on those games we've naturally started to ramp down the amount of hours spent on A Game About Feeding A Black Hole. And a natural consequence is that some of our ideas and dreams for Black Hole simply are now too big for the amount of time our two person team can commit to them with the other games we want to make. Hi everyone!Yesterday we released the Rebalanced update and it looks like you're all really enjoying it! If you haven't read the update covering what it contains, read it below.We've adjusted some small things to make the balance even better, read the patch notes below.Changed the loot stat contribution text to always show "previous stat -> new stat", even in the equipped view, whereas before it was "new stat -> previous stat".Fixed a bug where the stat values for the Firm Grip and Shadow Strike loot were mixed up.Wizardry loot % Damage Reduction: -70% -> -40%.Dragonborn loot % Damage Reduction: -55% -> -40%.Added the "Precise Collisions" setting. In the previous update, we made projectiles interpolate to have greater accuracy, but this came at the cost of worsened performance on lower-end devices. By default this setting is off, but if you turn it on your high-speed projectiles will no longer skip over enemies.Fixed a bug that caused loot with higher than 100% stat effects to display incorrectly in the loot view.Fixed a bug that caused the achievement for unlocking all weapons to not take into account the 2 newly added weapons in the Critical Update.Fixed a bug where the mastery achievements for the 2 newly added weapons in the Critical Update didn't display their text properly in some languages.As always, if you're enjoying the game, I would REALLY appreciate it if you reviewed it. Update 1.12 is out - competitor warehouses in Delivery DLC and other changes!

The biggest new feature in this latest game update is the addition of competitor warehouses in the Delivery DLC. Every 10 minutes, a warehouse belonging to a bankrupt parcel delivery company will appear at random locations. Your task is to send all the packages left in the warehouse within 5 minutes. In other words, packages in these warehouses are generated only when the warehouse appears, and no new ones appear. If you manage to clear the warehouse, you’ll receive a generous reward and refund for all routes and planes connected to that warehouse. However, keep in mind that there are quite a lot of packages, and they create an additional load on your network. Is it worth taking the risk for the sake of an extra reward? It’s up to you! Also in this update: - Fixed the total number of territories displayed on the game statistics screen. The new update is out! You can now search for your name in the Thank You List!

That’s right! Previously, a lot of players who backed the crowdfunding campaign said they couldn’t find their own names. And honestly, with more than 1,000 people in the 39.9 tier, it really was hard to find them! So we worked overtime to add a name search function.Now, in the latest version of the game — you can check the version number in the bottom-left corner in-game; the last number is the version number, and the current latest version is 29 — open the phone app and go into the Thank You List, and you’ll find the feature shown in the image there!PS: Since many players share the same name, you can see in the image that there are three identical “Little Sheep” names in the Thank You List. Because of that, we added a function where each click switches to another matching result.So now, it’s not just players whose exact name is “Little Sheep” who can be found — players whose names contain the word “Little Sheep” can also be found. You can even use this to see who else shares part of the same name element as you, haha.In this same version, we also fixed some small bugs, which I’ve listed below:Fixed an issue in the main story of the fourth town where Fish was not unlocked, causing one item in the Little Jellyfish character collection to remain locked.Fixed some typos in certain quests.Fixed a UI conflict that happened if \ and \ were triggered at the same time.Fixed an issue where the little salamander and the little cockroach could meet, but their meeting story did not trigger.Fixed an issue during comic collection where, if Little Cockroach had not been unlocked, one of the pug’s comics could not be unlocked, making it impossible to complete the full comic achievement.Fixed the issue where the Auto Checkout toggle button was enabled by default on the left side, which felt a bit counterintuitive.Fixed an issue where the achievement “Sticker Shop Regular” could not accumulate progress properly on the Steam page.

First, I want to say thank you all so much for a much better launch! The game has been doing really well and I have been getting great feedback! Bug FixesMana Feed (Arcanist's Conduit) — Fixed keystone not triggering during combat. Healer support keystones (Mana Feed, Martyr's Blessing, Phoenix Heart) can now activate even after the healer has already cast a heal in the same tick. Mana Feed also now checks all allies (not just Mage/Healer) and triggers at a more generous 70% mana threshold instead of 40%.Pinnacle Boss Death Reset — Fixed a bug where dying to the Pinnacle Boss would transport players into an "Unknown" dungeon with no way to progress. The game now properly cleans up the Pinnacle fight and returns to the dungeon selector on defeat.Inventory Equip Display — Fixed item descriptions/names on character cards not updating correctly when swapping equipped gear from the inventory, particularly when switching from a higher-tier item to a lower-tier one.New QOLKeystone Inventory Filters & Sorting — Added "All Classes" and "All Rarities" dropdown filters to the Keystone Inventory. Keystones are now automatically sorted by Class → Type → Rarity → Level for easier comparison. Hi everyone!We are currently working on an experimental update for Gamblers Table and are looking for some testers and feedback.Let me pre-face this by saying: This is not a content update! We know that you are eagerly awaiting new content but before adding new features we first would like to try improving the foundation of the game. The experimental build is a rework of the skilltree, it increases the amount of unlockable skillpoints to 131. The extra points are used for passive bonuses and skilling certain talents up to 3 times but there are no new mechanics yet. The skillpoints are unlocked much faster than before, keeping the gameplay length about the same. We hope to give players more strategic choice and more frequent upgrades that way.We are mainly looking for feedback in two areas: Does the new, enlarged skilltree feel generally better than the old version or is it more or less the same to you, or maybe even worse?This new build went through waaaay less balancing than the release version, so it is balanced rather poorly. We’d be happy to just get some overall balancing feedback, which skills/strategies seem too weak/too strong etc.Everybody can test the new build, you simply need to go to your Steam Library, right click Gamblers Table and choose "Properties". Then you click "Game Versions & Betas". There you can select a branch named “new-skill-tree”. But be careful: This new build uses the same save game as the old version. To properly test the rework, I would really appreciate if you would restart the game from scratch!New players are also very welcome to test this version of the game! Rebalanced Update OUT NOW FOR EVERYONE!

Hi everyone!Yesterday I made a post explaining how the first part of the upcoming Forge Update was on the beta branch... Well, originally that update was only going to make its way to the main branch in April together with the full content additions but I've changed my mind and it's LIVE NOW FOR EVERYONE!Players who tested it were very happy with the new balance changes, and the game was stable so I thought there was no point in withholding the update! Because of that, this update is now considered a separate one, and is called the REBALANCED UPDATE!The Rebalanced Update does the following:⚔️% Damage Loot is completely reworked! No longer does it increase damage from a percentage of your base weapon stat, but rather the whole damage stat as a whole. This means that % damage loot is no longer super underpowered in the early game, but it remains about just as powerful in the late game. Some of the multipliers for loot affecting this stat has been reduced a bit, but because it multiplies from a higher base value, it should remain about just as strong in the late game as it is currently.🔫Fire rate is no longer a percentage, but rather calculated as "shots per second", and upgraded as such. The fire rate limit as also been increased from 10 -> 15 shots per second (and 100 -> 150 for Flamethrower and Electromagnetism)! This means that no longer will you have a loot with, for instance, a 15% increase in fire rate that doubles your shots per second. This stat is much clearer now.❤️HP Is no longer useless! We've completely rebalanced it and you can now take multiple hits before dying if you invest in it properly. The Forge Update will also contain more loot that will let you have an HP-centric build.🎯Aim Cone descriptions have been majorly reworked, and now display as a percentage with the stat name "Accuracy".⚡Critical hit multipliers through loot are now multiplicative instead of additive.💀Because various mechanics have been buffed across the board, the Rebirth wave requir...

I spent the last few days hunting down some of your biggest feedback points, fixing a few accidental (and embarrassing) limits I left on the loot engine, and laying the groundwork for something highly requested.Here is exactly what is changing when you boot up today:LOOT & PROGRESSION: The Endgame Un-NerfLet’s just rip the band-aid off: I accidentally left the training wheels on the later tiers in the game. If you were running Tier 7 and Tier 8 anomalies and wondering why your loot felt incredibly underwhelming, it’s because a logic trap in the engine was aggressively compressing your rewards down to a Tier 5 level. You were fighting dimensional gods for pocket lint.That is should feel better.The Ceiling is Gone: Tier 7 and Tier 8 drops are now properly uncapped.
