Hey everyone, sorry for no new Infos until now: I hit a bit of a bump in the road, due to some health related and IRL stuff. Also had a bit of a burnout on the project, so im currently taking a bit of a break with developing the game. The way that development went was very stressful and unproductive (which is a great combo for motivation). But i wanted to assure you that i still want and yearn for the release of 0.10. The scope was initially very huge and im trying to manage this to be able to deliver something meaningful and fun, that would make it worth to replay the existing parts and have a bit more indepth endgame. Im currently a bit out of loop, so im writing this mostly to tell you guys, im alive and im still working on the next version. But good thing i never took any money for the game, so it remained a passion project and you guys might not feel any frustrations outside of not getting a new version yet. For anyone reading this: Thank you for still giving attention to the game and all your kind words. I really appreciate you and hope you are doing well/getting better! I will update you guys when there is something more concrete around the corner and will be posting more regular status updates on discord as always. Im truly grateful! Keep it up!

Hello, Tower Lords! A new patch is ready with more Qol and Polish. The next major patch will be out in a 2 or 3 days. We'll be polishing game balance and combat. Bug Fixes The annoying bug that forced you to hover and un-hover over light to upgrade tower when starting the game should be gone. The dragon breath issues fixed. But please note in final fight this skill is not available like normally. You use it to destroy the shield, but you are unable to use it for normal damage.Status Combo UI should properly reset on enemies. Resuming game by going to title menu and then back to the game should now work without issues. Polish You can now hold your mouse and swipe it across the ground to mass collect the loot dropped by enemies.Combat Damage Notifications upgradesNow there is a toggle-able combat log at bottom right corner of the screen. Tiny button toggles it on/offEcho/Decay damage now cascades down for visually appealing effect and it does not crowd the area as much anymore.Total damage dealt count-up damage text added. Status Effect damage texts moved up, and spread on a virtual grid for better visibility. The normal damage texts removed, they are now displayed in combat log. Increased how much settings affect camera speed.Tooltips added to requirement items in tower shop.Tooltips added to icons next to healthbar that explain mechanics of the Armor and Gloom. Dark lord sequence cleaned up a bit, and visual bugs fixed.More spell symbols changed for easier casting. Various small improvements and fixes. Many people have asked for this and it's something I've wanted to add for a long time.Actually, the code for this was already in the game, but I needed to work out some issues with it. You might have experienced this since there a bug that allowed the trains to spawn on load if you had additional stations placed.As a pacing solution, train stations now cost more with each additional station purchased.Camera ImprovementsWhen placing tracks or props the camera no longer rotates keeping the object centered. Instead the camera rotation is locked so you can freely place the track or prop.A toggle is now available in the options menu that will allow the camera to move in the direction it's pointing instead of maintaining it's height while moving. For instance, if you point the camera straight down and press forward it will go down toward the ground. By default, it will not go down, but will go in the horizontal direction it's pointing.Living Room (Preview)There's a preview of a new living room scene. Warning: This scene might change significantly before the full release of the game.There's currently no golden caboose in this scene and therefore no way to complete it.UI ImprovementsPressing the escape key will back out of actions and menus as expected. For instance, previously if you had a track that you were placing and hit the escape key to drop it, the main menu would show. Now, it will cancel placing that track. You said the premium eggs were not premium enough and sure not worth the price if all you would get from them is another fish you could breed from the starting set anyway. This is now fixed, and the premium eggs are back to the fish store.PLEASE NOTE: the main difference in those premium eggs are the skins. These skins can't be obtained in any other way than hatching premium eggs or breeding premium fish. We will be adding more premium skins in the future and probably more tiers of premium skins as well. There will be no premium fish body parts.Other than that, two new sets of fish body parts were added.Finally, we have added some QoL changes: you can now push both fish in the breeding aquarium to the atlas to examine the possible breeding outcomes and it's also possible to filter the outcomes to see how many of them you have not obtained yet.
