Hello again! I've been secretly working hard on a true sequel to Factory Town. It takes place on a series of tropical islands, where you're building up a town at the foot of a giant (but friendly) volcano. There's more items, buildings, transportation gadgets, a day/night cycle, rotational power, electricity, flowing water & waterfalls, an optional controllable avatar, and lots more that will be developed & announced over the next several months. Estimated launch date is loosely in late 2025, but definitely could get into 2026 based on how development goes. This update adds the following new features: Quick crafting: There is now an option to enable quick-crafting, which allows you to select pixels to craft with a single click. However, you will not be able to pick specific pixels to craft. Pixel Gallery Sorting: You can now sort the pixels in the pixel gallery by colour and rarity. Background Colour: You can now set the background colour to the colour of an owned pixel by double-clicking an owned pixel in the gallery. Pixel Canvas: You can now place owned pixels in the background by enabling canvas mode, In canvas mode, click on a pixel in the gallery to select it, left click on the background to place a pixel, and right click to remove a pixel. Press 'H' to hide the UI.

Hello everyone! It has been around two months since the release of TaskPals 2.0. I have been fixing bugs reported in the Steam Discussions and the Discord bug report channel. If you find or think something is a Bug, feel free to post it in Discussions or on Discord, your help is very appreciated! Bug fixes Fixed Pals glitching in the air if their behavior was changed while they were falling. Added a green border to the selected Pal’s icon in the menu to improve visibility. Added an icon to the menu window. The app should now be hidden from Discord's "Stream Screen." Some tooltips had their last letter cut off. The stacked monitors issue has been fixed. New features A new option, "Force Border," is now available. Many users didn’t like how Pals could move beyond their borders. With this option enabled, they will not leave the border zone on their own. If you take them out, they will immediately return. A new option, "Display Settings," is now available. Here, you can disable certain screens that you don’t use or that overlap with others. If you have multiple screens, disabling the ones you don’t use can also improve the app’s performance. Note: You cannot drag Pals across disabled screens. Plans for the future Localization is something I have been working on and should be released in the next couple of months. A tutorial for new users. Performance optimizations. Different rendering options depending on the Pal’s drawing style. Pal competitions. Final words The next update will definitely include improvements to optimization and rendering. Hello everyone, After the last content update, we are releasing a new update that includes a few long-awaited features and bug fixes. Here are the details: Added the ability to delete saved games. NPC names now adapt based on the selected language. Pet animations have been improved (especially for large dogs). Nightstand mirroring issue has been fixed. Floating food bug has been fixed. 6 new customer types have been added (based on the Fortune Teller model). Missing flower decoration object names have been added. A "Random Inn Name" button has been added. Customers' happiness levels are now displayed in their profile. The difficulty of many quests has been reduced. (When you load older saves, you might see the objective progress is higher than expected, the quest will be completed after a single progression. For example: 10/8 Tavern object, just place one more object and the quest will be completed.) The first story event will now appear on day 9 instead of day 10. ❤️ from Evil Goose Games
Hey all! This is a small one. Version 1.4.1 is now out. This update adds some fixes to some bugs. Bug Fixes Fixed a bug that caused the game to stop working sometimes when you load a save. Some players may have experienced plants or ores not regrowing. This should now be resolved. Fixed an issue that caused the offline progression menu not to show up sometimes. Fixed an issue that caused workers to appear behind furnaces. Fixed an issue that caused anvils to magically make tools whilst offline. Fixed an issue that caused signs to sometimes not update. Due to all the changes that 3.0.0 adds, mainly around the new level stuff but some balancing things as well, the update is going to force a new save for everyone. Your old save file is still there, if there is a great enough need for it, I can upload the old 2.1.0 version so you can still play on your old save. However, I very much encourage just starting fresh on 3.0.0 and enjoying all the new features. Boink has entered release candidate (RC) #7 and will most likely see an RC #8. Event - Clover Fish Day | March 17th - 24th After reaching Fisher level 11, Clover Fish are able to be caught. These can be used to obtain clover seeds. The Farm When The Market reaches level 30, a seed pack will become available for purchase. This will unlock The Farm. Seeds can be planted and will turn into currency based on the seed type. Timer will continue to run while offline. WHAT'S NEW - Improved text rendering for better readability at lower resolutions. I've tested on 1920x1080 and 1366x768 resolutions and it's looking a lot better. Also increased the character spacing on text descriptions slightly. - Added a fix for a bug that would prevent walls from loading properly after a wall was defeated. - Fixed a few typos in the quest and spell descriptions. Hey friends, it has been a long time. It was recently the 1 year anniversary of Boink entering Early Access on Steam. It has also been roughly 10 months since the last update. Believe it or not, I actually have been working on 3.0.0 of Boink since the last update, but lots of burnout and life just being life again caused significant delays. Regardless, the update should be coming out soon. We are currently on release candidate (RC) #6 of the update, couple more polish things and bugs to squash and it should be good to go. I wanted to use this time to go over some of the changes that are coming in 3.0.0 which I am excited about Quality of Life One of the most common things people complained about in Boink was having to click so much to just get a bouncer placed to upgrade, or the clicking that was required to go and upgrade all your bouncers once placed. In this update, there are now multiple ways to upgrade your Bouncers such as: Upgrading all bouncers on the map Upgrading all bouncers of the same type Ability to choose a starting bouncer level when purchasing a bouncer Another way to upgrade bouncers is being able to click-and-drag to select multiple bouncers to upgrade.
