Howdy! Back with another small update: 🧩 Puzzle Changes 🧩 - Added a variant of one of the puzzles that would be difficult to solve for non-english speakers. (There is a setting in the options menu to toggle the alternative puzzle) - Modified the radio puzzle to accept multiple solutions. (I'm being purposely vague here, but I removed the "always add first" message as this change makes it irrelevant.) 🍓 Made some changes to slightly reduce the loading times from the splash screen to main menu. (Unfortunately, I think the stutter is due to shader compilation and initializing the assets... not a lot I can do beyond this.) 🍓 Replaced the "Force UI Scale" setting to a "UI Scale %" option. You can now scale the HUD to your liking between 50%-100% 🪱 Fixed an issue where holding down "pick up" would drop the object you had just picked up 🪱 Fixed a crash when loading from splash screen to the main menu Most of the work I've done in the last week has been preparing the game for localization (aka translating to other languages), so let me know if you find any weird text in the game that I may have goofed! There's no official timeframe for additional language support, but it's in the works and I hope to have an announcement soon about it.

Previously, the coordinate update process for the evolutionary tree was executed every frame. With this update, the process is now executed 2 seconds after a change in the evolutionary tree is detected, significantly reducing the number of updates.

Hello!This will hopefully be the last update for a little while as we work on more substantial content updates over the coming weeks and months.Patch Notes for 1.0.6n:Changes to JobsAdded more jobs.Previously, slots 2 and 3 held the same job types, but now each slot draws from its own pool of jobs.Replaced the Job cooldown timers with a new 'Job Stamina' mechanic.Instead of each Job slot having its own individual cooldown timer, there is now a pool of Job Stamina to use for completing any job. While doing some more testing I adjusted and fixed some stuff.ChangelogAdded hints surrounding workers picking up active orders only.Changed worker billing to be taken per hour instead of money ticking down every second.Fixed Delta printer animation. It'll do..Print visual on all printers now grows based on actual print progress instead of looping animation.Room slot capacities now 4, 8, 16, 32 doubling just felt right, and it means more printers to get to $1M.Achievement "Maximum Capacity" changed to 60 printers, this won't change again, especially after Steam Achievements are introduced.Few more minor UI tweaks
It's been a long time coming, but 0.6.3 is now out for the full public! We have a lot of new stuff to cover, so let's get right into it:Settings Animators / SeasonsYou can now create animation curves for settings, so they change gradually and automatically over time!You can specify any number of settings to follow a given curve. You only need to specify the base for each, and the settings animator will take care of the rest! The curves function multiplicatively, so that's why it's important to pick the bases correctly. In the example above, since the curve oscillates around 1.0 with an amplitude of 0.5, this means that the global fertility will oscillate around 10uE, with an amplitude of 5uE. Every 10h, the fertility will increase to 15uE, go back down to 5uE, and then return to 10uE, to then repeat the cycle. This had to be done so a single animator could animate many different settings together, even if they had wildly different scales and ranges. Since the animation curve is a spline that you can edit pretty freely, this allows you to make pretty much any curve you want (\ to add/remove points)And the ability to create as many animators as you want allows you to create environments that are a lot more dynamic and interestingCorpsesLook at all these disgusting, decomposing corpses!! Corspes have been a requested feature for a long time, so it was about time I delivered! Now, when bibites have their health drop to 0, they won't explode into meat anymore! They will turn into a corpse! A bibite, but brain dead, and with no active processes, that will slowly decay... and then explode into meat.... Corpses will slowly decay based on their previous metabolism (simulating their remaining metabolic processes slowly cannibalizing their carcass's integrity to hang on to existence)This can be sped up with attacks from other bibites, or even collisions.As this happens, the bibite will slowly turn ashen, then red when getting close to 0 integrity. Hello bosses! There’s a new update available on Steam. We’ve reworked the missions (tracks visuals etc.). As part of this, players loading in current saves will have their missions removed. To compensate, we will be giving you all a new mission in-game that should get you back up to speed once claimed. We stronglyrecommend starting a new save in order to get early mission rewards (new cap bonus increases, etc), but existing saves will generally remain playable.GeneralWe've performed heavy game optimizations to various systems in the game. Players should expect vastly reduced resource consumption during play as well as a marked increase to FPS and smoothness. If you still have choppy frames, lag, or otherwise, do let us know! This is an ongoing initiative and we will make further improvements in the future.Rarity has been reworked.
