Camera Movement now works as long as the game window is in focus! Previously, it only responded if your cursor hovered specifically over the game view. 🔧Bug Fixes 🔧 Furniture Deletion Refunds: You’ll now correctly receive money back for all linked items when deleting furniture. Example: Deleting a table with a chair and flower on top now refunds all three, not just the table. "Unlock Area" Glitches: Those mysterious red fields that sometimes appeared out of nowhere? They're gone! (I think) 🐛Known Issues 🐛 Guitars and Lutes still vanish after the first time they're used.. Magician cats? Nope, just a bug. They reappear when you restart the game though. I'm real satisfied with where it's ended up and the reception it's got. Still, cool milestone! I had to post SOMETHING for it.Actually! While we're here! How about I post OLD DEVELOPMENT SCREENSHOTS?Behold, the first ever gif i recorded for Settlemoon:Placing buildings was the first thing I got working and it kinda all revolved around that. That building sprite is unused in the final game, but you CAN get it in your town if one of your buildings ends up being invalid.Originally, items were going to be made using combinations of materials, instead of just dropping a single material to instantly make an item. The whole recipe thing ended up being really complex...too complex for this kind of game! I eventually brought it back as a sort of puzzle for NG+ with the weird distillery building.Check this out too, some of the first adventurers:You could probably already glean this from the "generic" depictions in game, but this set of adventurer cosmetics are considered the "default". They have an...interesting fashion sense, though, so you're rarely gonna get anyone looking exactly like this.While i'm at it, here's the original draft of how I expected progression to go:You can see that I stuck pretty close to the plan for the first 3 bosses, but diverged quite a bit for the latter half! That's just how things go during development.Developing this was overall a lot of fun! If you're trying to get started on gamedev, it's really important to get the "game loop" closed as fast as possible. That means being able to launch the game, play it until a stopping point (like the credits!) and return back to the title screen without using any debug tools. Once you have that set up, it's just kind of expanding that loop until it's satisfying! For Settlemoon specifically, the loop was "place buildings, wait, get money". One more thing before ...

Thank you for waiting. 💦 You can now play in Hard Mode dungeons beyond level 1000, as the maximum level has been raised. From level 1000 onward, dungeon monsters gain individual abilities, and these abilities grow stronger as their level increases. Only Hard Mode allows play beyond level 1000. Disabling Hard Mode will return the cap to level 1000.Equipment above level 1000 now grants greater main stat bonuses when enhanced. Higher-level and highly-enhanced gear will now yield significantly stronger stats. From +0 to +10, the enhancement method remains unchanged, but from +10 onward, failing an enhancement has a 50% chance to damage the gear. Damaged gear can still be equipped and used but cannot be enhanced further. If you succeed despite this risk, the gear gains even greater main stats.Certain stats now have a maximum cap. As dungeon and monster levels increase, rewards and equipment stats have also scaled up, so this change was necessary. If a stat appears in orange in the Adventurer Stats UI, it means that stat has reached its maximum.Settlement Stones have been added to the right side of town. Currently, only the Left and Middle Settlement Stones are usable. The Left Settlement Stone strengthens guard abilities used in defense battles against bandits (for example, Spearmen may gain increased range, Swordsmen may gain chances to ignore or reflect damage). The Middle Settlement Stone randomly increases the level of one Adventurer Tactic each time it is enhanced. Settlement Stones gain one ability per enhancement. If enhancement fails, the stone can still be placed but will be damaged and cannot be enhanced further. (The Right Settlement Stone will become functional in a future update 💦)With the level cap lifted and higher levels available in Hard Mode, I am concerned the game may feel too difficult for some players. 😥 Please share any requests or issues, and I will respond as soon as possible. Fix crash regression when adding a 'Specific' automation upgrade item. Fix auto add ships feature to add ships if you manually built at least one building of the corresponding factory. Fix military tab bug where adding a militia didn't show that it was added in some situations. Fix bug where removing all militia with the red X would inadvertently refund your farms. Fix bug where offline calculations could rarely run more than they should, and even get in an infinite loop. Fix bug that was making it harder to click the plus/minus buttons on military tab because the ship name tooltip was getting in the way. Android: Upgrade to target Android SDK 35, as will be required soon by Google. Upgrade Java 11->17 and gradle 4.2.2->8.1.4 to match. Android: Fix issue that was making the install / download size bigger than it needed to be.
