Apparently Unity found a security issue if the build is distributed via the earlier version of Unity. Because of that I migrated the project to a new Unity version. So, that won't be a threat anymore. Took the opportunity to make changes to the wishlist next game thing... people tell me to be more shameless. So here goes. Question: I could fix the janky way the numbers go up once you pass billions in Chapter 3. But I don't want to screw over speedrunners? Open to feedback here :)
Yay new cats!!!!!!!!!2 new collections added!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Tell your friends about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But first, here is my new retro psx inspired 3d platformer metroidvania game. Please, add to WISHLIST and play demo for free
Today, a DLC called Delivery was released. In it, you will have to deliver parcels. You are responsible not only for planning routes and launching new planes, but also for building warehouses where parcels are stored. Warehouses should be located near cities. Each warehouse has its own service area, and the more cities it covers, the more packages will be generated. There are three types of warehouses available in the game, differing in their service radius. Deliveries between the warehouse and cities in the service area are carried out by trucks, so you don't have to worry about that. A very important feature of warehouses is that they can be removed. This means that you can control the flow of goods more precisely. We strongly recommend using this option in “Discover the World” mode during particularly difficult moments. However, you cannot abuse this feature, as you must have at least one warehouse in each territory in this mode. The DLC currently offers two modes: “Discover the World” and “Free Play.” The goal of “Discover the World” is to build warehouses in the selected territory so that all cities are covered by the service area within 6 minutes. The next territory will be chosen and unlocked automatically. You lose if you don't complete the task in 6 minutes or if any warehouse becomes overloaded. In “Free Play,” however, there are no such restrictions. There, you can build anywhere, without time constraints and without the threat of losing.New events await you in the expansion! Some are quite positive, while others will have a significant impact on the state of your transport network, and then you will have to react. We tried to come up with original situations that were not found in the main game.It may not be obvious from the screenshots, but we have reworked all the game systems in the expansion from scratch. This will allow us to make any kind of changes more quickly. It is likely that a similar rework will soon affect the main game, as the old code doe...
Welcome, wannabe archaeologists.First of all, thank you for the support and the warm reviews. It really means a lot.The game and the store page are now localized into 19 languages. Now your non-English-speaking grandma, little siblings, and friends can join the stone smashing. If you notice anything odd in your language, join our Discord and let us know. Everything has been reviewed, but localization is always tricky. Especially short descriptions, single words, and jokes. In this patch we have also fixed some bugs:Autoclicker related issues (texts, tickets moving out of the way when using autoclickers)Some money related bugs (purchasing too many ticket refreshes)Settings many getting bugged for some usersAdded dx12 and vulkan support (may fix some startup crashes)Camera shake generally lowered when too many things happens at onceGetting stuck if you exit the game while in prestige menuSee you later, treasure hunters,
Danger in the Woods Event A foul wind blows from Deadwood Canyon Within the rotted bark and branches of Xyloalgia, the wicked Poena emerges once more. Event Ends: March 1 Poena returns as a Phase 2 boss in the Xyloalgia fight. Crafty adventurers should carefully plan their strategies when facing her terrifying presence. Be mindful of Poena’s Mirror mechanic: any debuff inflicted upon Poena will be reflected back to its source. All runs in Deadwood Canyon for the duration of the event will yield 2x loot!Collaborate with other Stoneheads on our community Discord server: https://discord.com/channels/423242655498240000/921258566705377280 Ascension Mobile Alpha and Beta Access for Kickstarter Backers After some discussion, we will be including mobile builds for Stone Story Ascension’s Alpha and Beta builds. Although we will be launching on Steam first, mobile continues to be an important platform. Having players participate earlier in testing our builds gives us greater confidence in producing the game, while also giving supporters the opportunity to play on their preferred platform. Alpha and Beta access can be obtained through backing Stone Story Ascension on Kickstarter. We are a little under $2000 away from hitting the first stretch goal, which adds modding tools in-game. Back again with another small patch, fixing up some Steamdeck and controller related quirks. After this update, the game can be considered to have full controller support. (which I will change on the Store Page as well) Gameplay Changes 🍓 Increased the Vacuum airblast charge rate from .75f -> 1.35f. This should hopefully make using it quicker and less tedious QOL Changes 🍓 Now checks for the "all upgrades" achievement after each upgrade is purchased, instead of when you leave shop. (buying all upgrades but clicking rewind would previously not unlock it - you had to click Wake Up) 🍓 Removed the hard-coded 'Enter' key for leaving shop, for those who want to bind 'Enter' to other things 🍓 Added a force UI scale setting, hopefully will fix any remaining ui issues, regardless of resolution/setup Bug Fixes 🪱 Fixed some of the upgrades in the tree not being navigatable via controller 🪱 Fixed the pesky Berry Buddy Upgrade Icon that would constantly be selected/jittering when on controller and Steamdeck 🪱 Fixed the ability "press to use" UI not updating during the round if you changed input devices As always, please let me know if you find any quirks or issues!
New features and improvements in this update!Added Canyon scene. As previewed in previous announcements, I contracted my friend Zach to create this map. I'm very excited to present it to you as the new default scenario! It's leaps and bounds beyond what the original demo map was. Enjoy!Steam Engine and changeable engines. In the full version you will be able to unlock additional engines that have certain benefits in the game.Changed golden caboose functionality - now added per train.Previously, the Golden Caboose was a bit OP. It has now been changed to still be a permanent collection, but you can only add one per train. It now functions as a boost for sellers. If you fill a seller with a train that has a golden caboose it will reward you with double energy.Deposits are now ghosted out when no collector is placed on them.It used to be difficult to tell where a collector should be placed. Now, the deposit location is ghosted and appears in full color when a collector is placed on it.More collectible items. Added collectible tracks and engines.Certain tracks and engines are now locked until collected. The intention here is to give the game some extra depth.Pressing a hotkey for a different favorite now switches to that favorite.Previously you would press a hotkey (such as '1') to bring up a favorited track. Before you could choose the track for another hotkey (such as '2') you would need to drop the current track first and then press the hotkey. Now, you can simply press another hotkey and the current track selection will automatically be dropped.Collector rate added as an upgradeable attribute.Something that made other upgrades useless after a while was the fact that collectors would be limited to a certain rate. This new upgrade option should resolve this problem.Coming in a future release!Adding Steam Workshop support!I currently have a full loop working for Steam Workshop support! It needs some work to make it user friendly. To test it out, I was able to quickly cha...

After a few attempts, I finally got the game migrated to Bevy 0.18. Some colors and a few Egui elements were off after the update, so it took me a while to track everything down and fix it.I also added a Prestige Shop this was a player request, and I liked the idea, so I built it directly into the prestige Egui. Thanks for the support, and thanks for playing! New FeaturesResource fly to UI animation Mining now has clear visual feedback. When you collect resources, small icon tokens appear where the action happens and smoothly fly toward the correct resource counter in the top panel. What it doesTokens travel along a smooth arc with an ease-in-out-cubic feel, plus a subtle parabolic lift (sin-based vertical offset) so the motion looks natural. The destination updates every frame, so tokens keep tracking the right resource label even if the UI shifts or the layout changes.Built to stay lightweight: up to 15 tokens at once, with throttling so each resource type can only spawn one token every 0.5s to avoid spam.Supports ore, blocks, crystals, energy, uranium, dark matter, and quantum bits. When it triggersOn player clicks for ore and blocks. On block destruction for all resource types.

This is a bot-centric update that fixes a few issues:I-Robot Achievement -- This achievement is unlocked when a bot is purchased. We failed to tie the newly added bots as triggers of achievement completion. We've added all the game bots and the achievement will unlock when purchasing any of them.Bot pricing -- Bots increase in price with each purchase. The price curve of subsequent bots has been flattened a bit.Bots in Storage -- The last update allowed you to pick up and place bots around your apartment. They could not be placed into storage units. This has been fixed. You can place bots into storage and transfer them to other apartments like anything else. That's all for now. Thanks for your continued gameplay and support!

Hey folks, 👋 I have just pushed a new update and this one is especially interesting if you like to customize the colors of your coding environment. You can now choose between different color themes, including a night mode and a light mode. For those of you celebrating, I've added a Lunar New Year theme. But even better: you can create and fully customize your own theme. Every color in the game can be adjusted using hexadecimal values, and changes update instantly in-game. I’ve also added several community-submitted translations (Czech, Traditional Chinese, and Ukrainian). These are marked as unofficial for now, but I wanted to make them available since many of you have asked for them. For those using external editors: Python type annotations are now ignored by the game, so you can use them freely. Autocomplete has been improved to immediately register new variables, and the editor should feel slightly faster overall. Although very large files can still slow it down. As always, thank you for the feedback and bug reports. It really helps. 🔥 🎨 How to Create Your Own Theme You can customize and add your own themes here: Windows: %userprofile%AppDataLocalLowTheFarmerWasReplacedTheFarmerWasReplacedThemes Mac: /Users/%userprofile%/Library/ApplicationSupport/com.TheFarmerWasReplaced.TheFarmerWasReplaced/Themes Open Custom.tfwrTheme (for example with Visual Studio Code). Change any color using hexadecimal codes. (VS Code even shows a live color preview.) In-game: Open the settings and switch to the custom theme. Changes will update immediately. If you want to share your theme, rename it here: "theme_name": "YourThemeNameHere" Don’t forget to save the file 😉 Patch Notes: Added customizable color themes, including a night mode and a light mode. Added some unofficial translations (Czech, Traditional Chinese, Ukrainian) that have been submitted by the community to the game with a warning if you select one of them. Python type annotations are now ignored by the game so you can us...
