A big thank you to all beta players who have helped with testing and giving feedback. Also, this year's Lunar New Year (formally known as Year of the Snake) special wonder has been updated (available from 2.10 ~ 2.24). Fixed the chest achievements, some changes that might help with crashing.
Fixed an issue where building levels would become negative upon reaching the integer cap. They are now able to go up to level one trillion, and building levels that had become negative as a result of the issue will be set back to level 2 billion. Giving a code from a different week now gives a message that the code is not currently active. Fixed offline gains text for Destruction Idol. Destruction Idol now benefits from Offering Glyph and the Unchanging Reliquary premium upgrade. Fixed an issue with Inspired Concocting where it was displaying 100 times its actual bonus value. Fixed a typo in the description of the transcendent knowledge blessing. Fixed the talent loadout editor: it now has correct headers, is no longer missing the Paladin class, and has the maximum allocation amount set to 10,000. Talents can no longer go above one billion in level.
More pre-release updates - Balance patch!Version v1.04 - Patch LiveAdded a new feature after reaching '+ Snakes' level 5. This update will make manually guiding snakes more competitive compared to click-pulsing and idle play. I.E. It should no longer feel so inefficient to guide snakes at mid to high levels!Buffed Twin Fangs (again) to increase its base duration. The goal is to keep them a bit competitive with Void and Black Hole.Shop descriptions have been updated to be more descriptive.The musical note button no longer toggles the Piano display on and off. Instead, it cycles through different piano overlays.

Manage members via Family Panel -> Members -> Family Tree: delete characters, arrange marriages, divorce, execute, and add children. Improved house territory allocation so expanding lands stay more contiguous and coherent. Added a new Family View in the Country panel (toggle from the action bar). World History Review The World History Review table is now available from the History screen via Full History, with event filters that apply to both full and yearly history and are saved to your config. More Improvements Pause Editing: most editing actions can now be done while paused (entering the editor auto-pauses). Toggle via Edit Map -> Global Commands. Workshop uploads: manually pick a cover image (png/jpg). Images over 1MB are auto-compressed to prevent upload errors. Unconquerable Regions UI reset: set localized names, plus a new Use Surrounding Country Color option to auto-assimilate colors when fully surrounded by a single country. Alliance view: improved name placement based on alliance area and added alliance borders. UI performance optimizations to reduce stutter when opening some panels. Hey GuysI hope you had a great Christmas & New Year I wanted to share some progress with you guys and let you know some of the new features some of which are still being developed and are subject to change.Dragon Infusing:Firstly the dragon infuse system, a feature that people always requested was being able to level up every dragon on one profile and with this new system you kind of can, well in a round about way.When you hit level 100 on your dragon then you can choose to Infuse that dragon into a new dragon egg, this will reroll your dragon back to level 1 including power ups and you can then select a new dragon egg but the bonus is that you keep all of the click damage that you gained plus when you level up your new dragon because it has been infused with another dragon then you will get 2X the click damage from each level up.That takes us nicely onto the next update.New Dragon Species:I don't want to spoil too much but I would like to share a few of the new dragon types.Feltwing JuvenileDeepborne AdolescantThere's 5 new dragon types so far in the game and there will be 10 at launch In order to unlock these new eggs you will have to complete various challenges. APEX System:Another feature that's similar to the dragon infuse system is the APEX system which applies to all of your other creatures, when you reach level 100 with a creature that has it's final ascension then you can choose to ascend it into it's APEX form which again will reset your creature to level 1 but you will keep the DPS and your APEX form's levels will boost you with double DPS when you level up plus your creature will change into it's APEX form which looks badass, I'll show you one of the designs as I don't want to spoil them.Can you guess who's APEX form this is? Hey Ponderers!Happy New Year!!As we enter the new year, the orb continues to grow. I don't have an exact maturation date for you, ...yet. But I do have a progress report with how things have been going since the start of December!On my content creation journey I have just started dipping into rituals. With lots of the new mechanics I've been adding into the game, I'm hungry to start actually building the ritual content. I've got so many cool stats that can be ritual-exclusive that it makes it very exciting to get into it. I've also been working with some artists to give this portion of the game, and some other portions, a bit more polish than my limited artistic abilities can pull off on my own.The big thing I wanna talk about in this development update though is the current iteration of researches. Be prepared as I'm about to ramble on some game design technicals:Researches got another slight overhaul. I've been tweaking their advancement costs a lot since v0.6 finding the version that feels the most polished. Originally, the big change was making Technology cost from \ advancement -> \, and making the power impact of technology much higher. This worked for awhile but ended up creating a advancement imbalance that leaned too hard into the \ advancements, creating a deficit where the other advancements felt much weaker. There was another problem that I've been solving for awhile in which stats like "Spell Weight Capacity" became less and less valuable as you went on. Investments into Expert Augments where cheap and solved spell capacity issues too easily. Something that playing Silksong taught me is that being more reserved with the upgrades that you dish out can be a good thing, and can actually enhance the experience of actually obtaining those upgrades when they are more rare.This realization created a philosophy change in orb's researches.
