No more awkward one-click-and-pray situation.Recipe button finally behaves like a normal button - if the recipes menu is open, pressing it again will close it. Revolutionary, I know.Resolution issues are fixed. New players will start with 1920x1080 by default.If you’ve played before and had some cursed custom resolution - you’ll need to set it again to whatever you prefer.As usual, if something explodes - let me know. Preferably with details, not just emotional damage.

//misc changes - Achievement - Community Busters Unite: When opening the Leaderboard from the Meta Screen it will now trigger the achievement if you have a score (in case it failed to trigger normally). - Brainals and their shielded Xenos now create electric spark effects (so it's easier to see they are linked together). - Ambient sounds have been added when your cursor is close to the anomalies in sectors 1-5.

Update: Alchemy & Potions

Major changesAlchemy potions - Brew potions from herbs in the cauldron: recipes, bag slots, recipe book, and clear UI for brewing and equipping buffs. Potions can boost tap gold, overall passive gold, and passive gold for specific hero classes. Failed brews can still give you a short harmful “mishap” instead of a normal potion.Stronger potion effects - All potion recipes were rebalanced with much larger bonuses and longer durations on the high end, so potions feel like a real power spike. In-game descriptions were updated everywhere so the text matches the new numbers. Guild alchemy hub - Herb garden merge minigame, potion crafting, elixir shop, and recipe discovery live under Guild - Alchemy, with layout tuned so the herb grid and side controls fit together. Persistence - Herb garden and alchemy-related progress stay with your save across prestiges where designed; potion buffs use real time so they behave sensibly when you close and reopen the game. Minor changesChallenge timer clarity - Challenge time-left presentation and related status text are clearer at a glance.Prestige progress messaging - Prestige bar lines are cleaner and easier to read in real-time progression.Buff/status readability - Active potion breakdown and remaining duration display were polished for quicker parsing.

When FOMO Meets Fear - Game News

Hey, Hope you doing good recently. I’m currently working on the new mode for the game, and it’s shaping up to be a simulation experience that feels almost completely different from the current single-player or the duo mode. It has a very different direction, and I’m hoping it can bring a fresh kind of experience into the game when it's released.One thing I want to explore more is emotion under pressure. In markets, there is always FOMO(fear of missing out) when something feels like it is running away from you, and in the world around us, fear can also grow when uncertainty start taking over. When both exist at the same time, how would you deal with them?Would taking one more turn make sense in that kind of situation, or would it only pull you in even further? That is one of the feelings I want this new mode to explore but from a different angle, and I think it could lead to something quite interesting.I’d also really love to hear from players while working on this. If there are any keywords, themes, or ideas you would like to see covered in the game, feel free to share them. Eggplague Event is live!

And Bunnies, well, those Bunnies never felt right. Send your Apprentices on an Expedition to retrieve and contain them! You can collect eggs by defeating Rabbits in the Expedition's special Mission, passively from the screen and then trade them in for other currencies. Starting from April 16th and up to May 15th an Event will be active that includes collection of eggs, defeating evil bunnies, a small present and a buff to Crafting Dust gained to top it off! The game has also been 1.80.1, with a bunch of small UI fixes, tweaks and stamping out a few bugs. Come join us for the celebration!

QOL update: Better fish cards

Changelog: Traits are now in 2 columns in the fish card. Fish cards grow on hover so they are easier to read. Fish card text is slightly larger as well. Misc. performance improvements and bug fixes (sorry, I forgot what I put in here...) The eye trait regression has been fixed. Notes: I have chased down some of the crash reports that players sent me, and have concluded that the "game won't start" issues are most likely due to older graphics cards and/or drivers. We use Vulcan, which is a newer technology. I'll push an OpenGL compatibility build to a separate branch soon - that might enable older devices to run the game. You can also try running the game with the following command arguments: "--rendering-driver d3d12" or "--rendering-driver opengl3" The crash reports I received (2 in total) were due to actual issues in the game code, so I was able to fix those I do have a fairly large performance update in the works - it seems to be working, but I want to test it a bit more before pushing a patch. Believe it or not, but having 2000 fish wasn't the problem. The problem was creating and scoring them all. (In case you are curious, yes, I was already batching the fish on the GPU, but I was scoring them one at a time. It turns out, scoring 20 fish per frame is 10X slower than drawing 2000 fish XD. Just goes to show, the profiler is your friend...) The game is out there, and people seem to like it, so I'm finally starting to slow down a bit. I also took an evening to watch YouTube and get nothing done. Normally, that wouldn't be a win, but after weeks of only working, it felt nice to waste a bit of time :) I am working on the first post-launch update (excluding bugfixes), as well as a longer-term roadmap, so I will share those in the coming days.
