Hello everyone!Introducing the 7th class of Nocturnal Quest: The Shaman. The Shaman is a very powerful class with a crazy Lightning specialization that fries all enemies, and an essential Spirit specialization that makes every build more powerful. With the Shaman, it is now possible to push to much higher floors, and approach the ultimate feat of 10,000. Here is some lightning fun from one of the most powerful builds of the end game:The Lightning Shaman has one offensive skill: Chain Lightning. The rest of her skills are debuffs/totems with incredible power. Hello!Version 2.2.0 of FACEMINER is now live. It has some big changes under the hood, and some smaller ones on top of it.The big change under the hood:You might or might not know that FACEMINER is secretly a web app. It's all built using a framework called Vue 2. Vue 2 hit its end of life back in 2023, and I've been putting off updating it ever since. One year post-launch, it felt like now was the time to do it. Many breaking changes and bugfixes later, the game should now hopefully (hopefully!) run a little bit smoother, and maybe more importantly, be easier to maintain long into the future. If you run into anything that doesn't look right, or changes that seem unintentional... They probably are, so please let me know.Endless Casual!For those who want to chill in the OS and not worry too much about losing, there’s a mode for that now. No more BSODs/negative balances/overheating. New update! We've heard your feedback on wanting to play all levels on endless without any token limits, so we've added a mode for that now. You'll find a checkbox on endless levels 1-8 to play the unrestricted versions. We wanted to get this out sooner rather than later, so some additional balancing may still be needed. Please let us know what you think!We've also increased HP scaling again on waves 20 and above in endless. This should most notably affect level 9, so we've gone ahead and reset the leaderboard on it. Full changes below: Added Unrestricted Endless mode. Levels 1-8 can now also be played without any token limits, with separate enemy scaling and leaderboards. The endless challenge can still be completed in this mode.
